On the engine-mixed Camry and Highlander much of the raw ENGINE complaint volume belongs to the four-cylinder cars (the 2AZ-FE oil-consumption story), not the 2GR-FE, so confirm the car actually has the V6 before reading those numbers against it. This engine routinely runs past 200k with basic maintenance.

Check — Confirm it is the 2GR-FE V6 (not a four-cylinder) on a Camry or Highlander. At high mileage weigh service history -- oil-change records, timing-chain quiet at idle, transmission shift quality -- over the engine's reputation.
